Abstract
For my Theory to Practice Grant I interned at the Hermitage State Museum, the second largest art museum in the world. The main objective of the grant was to discover what it is like working for a world-class museum in a foriegn country. During my internship, I got to perform many duties for the museum, including creating presentations, going to lectures/events, and helping to clean historical landmarks. In addition, I received Russian language lessons, and got to immerse myself in Russian culture and daily life. The Theory to Practice Grant allowed me to explore a career path that I am interested in, and helped me apply my knowledge to real world situations.
