Description
Stevens, editor of Zion's Herald, writes to say that his "columns" will be open for Finley's articles provided they are not too long and are written in a spirit of brotherly kindness. Stevens asks Finley to consider two things before submitting an article -- Is it necessary, and what will be its probable influence? (Note: Finley is still feeling angry about the "abuse" he experienced at the 1851 Ohio Annual Conference when trying to clarify his position about pewed churches and family seating.)
