Description
This letter from a reader of an article in the Methodist Magazine is a very polite but forceful criticism of the article, which contains the phrase "the old bluestocking Calvinists." The writer protests that it is better to return "good for evil rather than evil for evil" and urges Methodists not to use such epithets. The preferred term should be "old Calvinists."
