Description
Young has been appointed to a three person committee by the 1852 General Conference to collect subscriptions and come up with a plan for the erection of a monument to Bishop William McKendree, who died in 1835. The other committee members are J.B. Finley and Peter Cartwright. Young asks Finley and Cartwright to begin the process of collection and asks them to meet him at the next Cincinnati Annual Conference in order to decide on size, workmanship and cost.
