Description
Armstrong writes that he has done "his very best to guard our people from being carried off by the southerners and contending for property which I most conscientiously believed could not be taken from the Methodist E. Church or her members." He bewails the fact that a church worth $6,000 could be taken from those who built it and given to the Church South, based on the Resolution of the 1844 General Conference.
