Description
John Todd (Trustee, Augusta College, KY) writes to Finley concerning the death of his brother, Rev. John P. Finley (professor of languages at Augusta College). Todd describes John's three week illness and death. He also shares information about the funeral at the Methodist Church and the burial in the meeting house yard.
