Description
William Walker writes to Finley in Baltimore letting him know of recent correspondence from Indian agent, John Johnston. Annuities will not be paid to the chiefs until the last week of next month. Johnston has been authorized by the Secretary of War to organize exploring parties from each nation to examine potential new homes west of the Mississippi. Abstract Number - 752
