Description
Finley writes to Gov. Cass concerning the progress of the Wyandots at Upper Sandusky. The gist of the letter has to do with the acculturation of the Wyandots into white society, some of it related to intermarriage etc. Finley praises their cooperation with both the missionaries and the government and argues that removal would be a great injustice.
