Description
Supernumerary preacher, Joseph Lewis, writes to Finley concerning "a colered man in prison from this county" who may be the victim of ill treatment -- John Robinson. If Finley agrees, Lewis will proceed with a petition for pardon. He is willing to hire the man once he is released. Lewis predicts a good year for religion in Cincinnati. Abstract Number - 1128
