Description
Morris (now Bishop Morris) writes to share his initial experiences as bishop in the Methodist Episcopal Church. In the past six months he has traveled 2000 miles by horseback, and 1000 miles by public conveyance. He has attended six conferences. Conditions of the Church in the southwest are poor, due to lack of clergy. Many itinerants have located because parsonages are not available for their families. Abstract Number - 1029
