Letter is undated. Mary Armstrong’s letter of 1861-11-18 references Wilbur’s enlistment in the 62nd Regiment, which was formed between 1861-09-17 and 1861-12-24. Wilbur is also listed as a private in the 78th Regiment, being transferred at the request of John W. A. Gillespie.
