Description

Johnston has discovered a movement to have him removed from his position as U.S. Indian Agent, started by Gen. McArthur. Johnston requests that Finley write, along with other influence people and Indians, several petitions to the U.S. Secretary of War and the President to save his job and thus save the Indians.
