Description

The writer mentions an article which he had previously contributed to the Advocate and states that since that time additional efforts were being made to advance the interests of the M.E. Church South -- principally in the mountainous and remote circuits. "I want you to go to the General Conference once more, and if you vote for this 'Black Fence' to be kept up, why then I will vote for you to be kept in your old prison world without end." Every circuit in that district is punished with preachers from the South. Abstract Number - 661
