Gersuch writes that as far as Finley's request to the Trustees is concerned he will be glad to put the matter before them at an early date. Gersuch is having some trouble about the building of a new church and would like to explain the matter to Finley. He writes that on the first of March a meeting of the entire membership was called. Before this he had heard nothing of changing the name of the church. But, while he, Gersuch, was in the rear of the church getting subscriptions for the new building the members voted to call the new church Raper Chapel. He objected to the whole was dropped.???? He found later that the congregation was still determined to go through with it. Gersuch is sorry that this had to happen but hopes that it will not interrupt their friendship. Abstract Number - 481
