Description

Schenek writes concerning the Post Office at Eaton. He assures Finley that if there is a vacancy in the Post Office, a great deal of regard will be paid by the Postmaster General concerning the expressed wishes of the citizens. He ascertains, however, that a strong effort and representation will be made by many citizens and Whigs there to prevent the removal of Campbell, the present postmaster. He is reported to be a good and faithful officer. Abstract Number - 434
