Skiles paid a bail of $49 to Isaac Beesan for a certain James Ryland. They are supposed to belong to the M.E. Church in Finley's vicinity and Skiles would like Finley's assistance in getting his money back. Holmes verifies the truth of Skiles' statement and adds his plea to that of Skiles.
