Havens reports that on the preceding Saturday and Sunday, his Quarterly Meeting had been held at Connersville. Havens writes this letter to get Rev. Finley to come to his home and straighten out the mix-up they were having about a land deed. Also Havens claims that Finley's brother Frank left his house that morning and he said that Joseph was indebted to him for $60 which Frank had borrowed from the school fund to pay for Joseph's land. ????
