Marley says that Finley has of course heard of the District and that it is coming along nicely. They have a new church in Covington, Kentucky, and he was down to preach, had a wonderful meeting The colored people are declaring themselves members of the Methodist Church, and he is convinced that if the slaves are preached to successfully, the Methodists will have to do the preaching.
