The writer has just moved to Mansfield with his family and expects to "set up shop" there. People have been very kind to them. He dwells at length on the peculiarities of the "Yankees." He is enthusiastic over the prospect of preaching ?? there. Anne (Hannah?) Christie writes later that they have already set up shop and that Christie is doing his rounds of Quarterly Meetings.
