This is a letter to an inquiry by Finley about the quarters at the prison and Dewey thinks Finley should be accommodated and Dewey will be ready to make any reasonable sacrifice. It is not clear in this letter just what Dewey has to do with the prison, but he is evidently to hold some position there. Succeeding letters make it plain that he is to serve as Warden.
