Morris explains and apologizes for not having written sooner. He has had an interesting year and hopes to be able to tell Finley about it soon. He deplores the conditions in the southwest and the lack of preachers there. Morris praises the beauty of the south but expresses faithfulness to southwest Ohio and Cincinnati.
