Is Anybody Home? Remote Working Opportunities and Employment During the COVID-19 Crisis
The article concludes there is evidence that lack of ability to perform work from a remote location due to poor internet access significantly impacts the level of employment in the United States. Since one in eight U.S. households does not have internet access, this can limit employment during a pandemic.
