The 2015 Student Symposium

April 15, 2015, from 4:15-7:45 p.m.

Schimmel/Conrades Science Center

Ideas for new projects often come from questions and comments when work is shared with others.

With this in mind, Ohio Wesleyan’s first Student Symposium is being held April 15, 2015, from 4:15-7:45 p.m. in the Schimmel/Conrades Science Center. The Symposium provides an opportunity for students to share their work with the OWU community as well as enhance resumes and/or graduate school applications.

Selected presentations report, perform, or represent the outcome of substantial work by a student or a group of students. The work is a paper, artifact, or performance that can truly be called a creative achievement or work of original scholarship.

Presentations are either oral presentations, artists talks, or performances of 10 minutes, with 5 minutes for question and answer or a poster presentation. Presentations are intended for a general audience of all disciplinary backgrounds.
